Helen Cuinn is a freelance performer and writer based in Scotland's central belt. Sometimes she works as a solo maker/performer and sometimes as a performer for other companies, artists or directors in both live and mediated works.

"It's sometimes difficult to sum up what I do. I act, draw, sing, dance, write, recite, make props/shapes/faces, pose, compose, sculpt, bounce, sew and organise places where I and others can show the results of these activities. I used to be a Jack-O-All-Trades but now I'm the Knave of Arts, using whatever skill is needed for the job at hand. I'm learning and prepared to learn and helping others learn what it might (could) be all about."

She graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2007, gaining an honours degree in Contemporary Theatre Practice. She continues the work taught there, engaging in the making of art works in numerable roles, genres and contexts.
